It's advertising, all about the numbers. Bigger numbers are more appealing to noobs. A newb sees a .46 engine on a CEN, and thinks it's better than the LST2, even though the LST2 would easily beat the CEN.

in your dream.. lol.... LST is like a toy next to a genesis nand defintiely is no match for Genesis's massive torque

hp is only a selling trick. true power is torque(nm) i dont think hp has nothing to do with power

how do they do to measure hp anyway?

there is no standard dyno for r/c engine. Anyways, try to do a tuck-o-war competition between LST and Genesis... you will see whats up.. lol.. its not even a match

I think what he means is there are no standards set to measure hp by for rc engines, so they can test it any way they want and claim what ever numbers they want. The only thing we can do is compare engines that were tested on the same dyno.
As for the tug of war with the LST and Genesis, that is unfair since the Genesis weighs about 10 pounds more.

Back on topic of the tires, they must measure the tire mold or with the tire stretched out.

Only 4# difference, if the lst is so great it wouldn't matter.

Also while on topic, do you think any of the size differences are due to conversion between the english and metric sizing?

It is kind of like motorcycle engines. They say my dirtbike is a 350, but actually it is a 337 cc motor. It just sounds better. Instead of saying i ride a 337. Just rounding up i guess!

Actually, the Genesis is 1in. longer than the LST2, and is slightly taller, and it weighs 8 pounds more. As for a tug-o-war, the Genesis would win, simply because it is a fat-***** car, and it NEEDS that .46 motor.

But on a track, in the dirt, drag-racing, the LST2 will kill the Genesis, and it looks better, and is faster, and has more options standard

LST isnt faster on the track Its all driver and Genesis wins more races than LST just so you know .. just so you know, without Adam drake... LST is nothing.

put that .46 engine or the 7.5inch wheel on LST and see if the drivetrain even holds up. MONSTER needs torque... not made for drag race

Genesis win... Lol. No buddy.

The only reason the Nemesis wins is because of the driver. If the CEN guys drove other cars, they would have better lap times, and faster trucks, and be more likely to win.

The LST tranny will hold up better than the Genesis tranny

Man I wish I woulda' taken a side by side of the LST or Aftershock next to the Nemesis before I got rid of them, I did take a this pic though..

If I'm not mistaken, the LST2 wheels are a little smaller than the LST1 set (correct me if I'm wrong)

It's pointless to try and prove anything when you have people that are totally bias and hate the other brand.. but speaking from 1st hand experience, the Nemmy makes those trucks look small, it makes my MGT look small too.. with my wide offset rims and RPM arms, my MGT and the LST had almost the exact same dimensions (same wheel base, same ride height), I'll take a side by side of my MGT and the Nemmy the next chance get..

I like both the Losi's and the CEN's, they both have more positives than negatives... IMO of course.....
