Default Low end grunt???

Ok, the tmaxx is fun at speed. How do you guys get low end power? Mine doesn't climb over things I think it should climb over. I'd like to see real climbing power, not just sit there and smoke. What should be replaced to get more power? I'm not racing anyone. When I'm in the grass, it's very labored untill it gets up on top of the blades - then it hauls ***** Truck is stock, should I try a smaller CB?

Try tightening it all the way and do a run or two....nothing hard and wild...just see if you can notice any difference in how it performs. If it is acts the same....you might be having a clutch problem.

Just a thought.

2 words. SMALLER PINION. A smaller pinion will definatley give it more grunt, but you will lose some speed.I went from a 18 tooth to a 13 tooth on my electric stampede, and it made a big difference!
