Or you can double nut it, just put 2 on each wheel.... blue locktite holds good though, and it's not a permanent thing..

yeah there was this kid who raced in the production class where i used to race... he had a pede. Kept hitting the wall and everthing else .... half the time ended up going backwards around the track.. He got spun out in a turn and pulled a wheely going the wrong way and i hit em head on with my losi xxx-t mf and set em doing flips through the air.... I know off topic but it was really funny.

This is one maintenance issue many people overlook, and it can be a costly one! Nylon insert hex nuts dont last forever! Regular replacement is required, and should probably be done about once a month or so (depending on use, and how often the wheels are taken off) If you can screw on the nut by hand, then the nylon insert is all but useless. If you dont want to replace nuts, then use loctite.

Some hardware stores may have nuts, screws, and things like that of the same size you need. Just bring the manual with you and on the parts listing it should list the size like for example: 3x8mm BHPS. That would mean diameter of 3mm and length of 8mm. The BHPS I'm not sure, I think it means something head phillips screw.

Can't guarantee you'll find it what you need right away. I checked two Home Depot stores and they don't carry screws of that diameter. Theirs start at 4mm. Otherwise buying screws there would be cheaper. If that don't work, I guess order from Tower Hobbies.
