I have a revo 2.5 with an os 18tm in it and everytime I come back from doing a high speed pass it cuts off. Can a leaking exhaust gasket cause this?

I would say turn up your idle a bit or richen up you bottom end just a hair and see if that helps. The leaky exhaust gasket pry isnt helping the engine any and you pry should get that replaced to. What happens alot of the times is when you do the wot its sucking in enough gas but cleaning out the engine and when you let off there isnt enough fuel left to keep it going.... if your idle seems a bit low then turn that up. If the idle seems fine then richen up the bottom end just in small turns, like 1/16 of a turn or so.
