Default LRP pullstart to rotostart

What parts do I need in order to convert the pullstart on the LRP to a rotostart? I have an HPI handheld rotostart unit so I want to use that, not the Losi spin start or other spin starters.

I use the Losi spin start plate on mine, but I think you just need [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLBV6&P=Z]this[/link] and then the [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKSC8&P=V]this roto start kit[/link].

Ok, so this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLBV6&P=Z

and this: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKJD9&P=M

Is that right? I already have the rotostart handheld system.

Is it worth it to convert to rotostart? I keep hearing that the pullstart is a pain in the butt for break-in and that the LRP pullstart is crappy.

Looks right to me. I've always liked roto starts better than pull starts. But some people like pull starts.

I cant believe people will buy that huge roto start for 55 bucks. That doesent even include the battery packs.
When all you need is a drill that usally some one has.

some drills have way too much torque for a starting system! if you use one set the clutch setting pretty low so that if you flood the engine you will not destroy your connecting rod. Better to air on the side of caution on that one....that being said i use a drill all the time [:-]

I've tried to use my Craftsman cordless drill on my HPI motor and it didn't spin fast enough to turn the motor over. I'm going to stick with the pullstart for the LRP.
