An o.s. .30 or something along those lines. I don't own a Warhead but I hang at the LHS and they where talking about it one time. Thats one engine they brought up. U could probably put any engine up to a .32 since Warheads have a pretty strong driveline

A sportwerks .26v2 is an excellent engine. I would also agree on the LRP and Picco P3

I put an axial 32 in my warhead and forward only shaft and the truck pulls wheelies.

a co-worker ask if i would buy and swap out the engine in his warhead. sound like the Axial is a good option. can anyone give me the rest of the part numbers i will need to make the swap.

Sorry about digging up the older post.

I did it by buying an ofna clutch bell shim kit, ofna flywheel nut or the raze engine sg nut, and I used non flange clutch bell bearings. You will need to use a extender in the ofna kit (part number 10099). I had to dremel a little of the cross support off on the tranny so the end of the screw on the sg shaft didn't touch the tranny support but it was a very small amount. Make sure you use the collet off the warhead engine and the flywheel of the warhead. Don't use the collet that comes with the axial engine it is to small for the spacing. you will have to rotate the carb on the axial beyond 180 degress so the needle valve does not touch the spur gear. Check my picture in my gallery.
