The MGT is obviously not a racer. It's a big truck, and acts like one, big deal.

Cool savage you have there, I noticed you have removed 4 shocks, has this improved the handling at all? What other mods have you done?
Better pic that shows what's going on under that sweet body o' mine

Yes, the air filter is dirty...that's what happens when a truck gets used

The truck handles GREAT. The truck handled great when it had HPI red springs and 25wt oil in the stock shocks, too. A Savage is only a set of springs and some shock oil from being a good handler in stock form.

Never had a Savage. Why should I get one? If it as tough and durable as I have heard, would it not make a good basher?

Yea my bad. I posted a rant against the Savage guy on the first page then decided it wasn't worth it/I don't care that much/there were three more pages and it would make no sense now lol. There should be a delete post button. I'm glad you liked it so much though Thunderbird. It means a lot coming from someone with over 12000 posts

There is no logical rant against the Savage.

But ThunderbirdJunkie totally agrees about the delete post button.

THE LOSI are nice but overpriced in my opnion. Same technology HPI and TRAXXAS have.

Just get a REVO man traxxas customer service is amazing. They replace parts they probably shouldnt. And they have a decent radio. The LST is a true monster truck. The REVO is more a race truck, but very durable. i hit a curb with mine. it was my fault didnt see the curb under the snow...LOL the only thing that happened was a cracked hex. Thats when they were plastic now traxxas uses aluminum.

If the Traxxas radio is decent, a dried up dog-log from BB's yard would be a fantastic radio

This is the reason you should get a Savage, a small taste of what I do to my truck:

Yes, it did break. After I hit a rock square with the A-arm going 40...
