Picco.28 doesn't look the same
Hi guys'
I just got my picco .28 (#51232) for my savage x ss and.......... it doesn't look the same as the one in the Ofna site.
This one looks exactly like the OFNA Picco .28 8 port ABC Factory Team Turbo Monster Truck Engine Part #51233
with a PULL START. Whats up with this,is it normal ?
Let me know guys ,thank you....

is it the one with the circular head, and not the cut outs? they have been know to swap parts like those, and it depends on where the seller gets his/her engines as well.
is it [link=http://www.nitrohouse.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=33_115&products_id=12785]This[/link] one?

jikkuria thank you for your reply.
Yes this is the one but it seems it has less Hp, Rpm & ports
compare these 2 links http://www.teampicco.com/Motori/p3-28.html

RE: Picco.28 doesn't look the same
that is odd. for the horse power ratings, i wouldn't worry about those. 99% of all manufacturer hp ratings are swollen up alot. the rpm are within 1000 of each other, which you wouldn't be able to tell unless you were using an x-dyno, so that is no big deal. when the a motor has less ports, like the truggy version you have, they generally shine on the low end of the rpm scale, and seem torqy. the higher port number like the one on the ofna site is actually a 7 port motor plus 2 bypass ports. the higher port motors will generally hae a little bit of a stronger top end when compared to the lower port motors. seeing as the truggy version is made to pull a big, heavy truggy out of corners, it makes sense to have it torqy. neither will be a bad motor though, as the picco p3 is an absolute animal.

All Picco 28's are 5 port engines, the advertising on them is incorrect..... pay no attention to the advertising, it means nothing...
