o yea btw things that broke today

1. clutchbell ( the part with the teeth basically ripped off )

2. the thing that secures the flywheel ( stripped )

3. rear diffs ( i heard the thing click andfull throtle the thing creeps very slowly )

what are you guys doing that causes you to burn up diffs every other day? i have run almost a gallon and a half thru my cv-r so far with the stock rtr differentials and havent had a problem yet(knock on wood), all i did was shim them and pack them full of grease. And i havent been easy on it by any means, i have bashed it at the track, skatepark, and straight asphault. guess it was my turn for a little good luck

i left the bevel gears and the ring gear the way they came(except new grease) and put one shim between the pinion and its bearing.

If it is a new truck there is a chance it was assembled wrong. I was on tank 5 (4 for break in) and my diff detonated. I took it apart and it was missing shims that are called for according to the directions. I killed the 13t gears in the diffe case.

you cant tune a pipe, you can get a tuned pipe based on if you want torque or top speed..and yes you can tell a difference in power in the 18cv-r from the 18ss, and by the way "powerfuler" isnt a word
yes u can i got this 1 to run wif my os 18 cv-rx it has 4 settings u can set it for torque or top end
CVEC pipes are the only pipes out there that I know of that you can tune it for tourque or RPM. I have 2 of them, 1 on my RC10GT and the other on my MT1 onroad truck. I think they are pretty good pipes.

i raced today and beat the HElla out of my Mt2
i striped the rearf diffs due to faulty rear bearings : (
thats one of the thinks you guys need to check when you strio diffs
if your bearings are shot then buy bearings then diff gears

I don't know about 70mph but your truck looks good.

I had a RB .21 big block in one of my MT2 trucks and my MT2 18SS with a OS .18 CV-r was faster on the top end. I didn't have the 2-speed but I had a 18t CB and 52t Spur in the big block and the OS .18 truck had the stock 15t CB and 49t Spur.

The big block I had (RB .21) is no sloch, I have it in my Kyosho Inferno 7.5 and it makes the buggy fly.

The MT2 with the big block conversion did have a lot more torque then my MT2 with the OS .18 but it was not as fast on the top end.

woww i had a bit of a scare saturday. i was playing around with my truck in the street 4 lane so some traffic it had been a bit wet and only 2wd. i disconnected the front for some donut action in the wet street. when my steering servo craped out on me for no freaking reason good thing i was about to bring her in. i opened the servo up and everythig looked fine just very week i replaced the batts same thing. i moved the servo gears a bit i felt a lil kick and the gears pinched my finger and i was like hurray then oww so in the end my servo works again. i tought i was gonna have to shell out another 50 bucks for a another servo. now i can get another body

that was lucky i had my mt2 out to day and a rock hit my revicer switch and turned the riciver off and the trottol servo was open full and the field i ran it was 2 miles wide and it went all the way to the other side of the feild and i had to chase it i was bloody nackerd when i got back to my feild gear.i am gonna but a expansion spring on my servo horn and attach to the the roll bar so if my swich truns off it will turn it back to idle hopefully
