Check The Fuel Lines For Cracks and Double Check That The Header Has A Good Seal On ur Pipe. Also The Weather Can Change Every Month And The Settings U Had 2 Months Ago Are Probably Not The Right Ones Any More.

Okay So I Have The Older Version Of The hpi 2 speed and cant remember what it was intended on fitting. has two pins on the connecting side (not 3 like the new ones) and the clutch bell is a fixed 2 speed not a threaded one. tower hobbies offers only two gear sizes for it now and i was wondering if n e one knew if the newer version (with the three "pins") would fit the mt2? really like the 2 speed in combo with the mt2 and os.18. great drifting car if you put 50,000 wt silicone oil in the rear and 20,000 in the front the 2 speed makes it nice to have the tourqe to get the tires spinning an the 2nd gear to push the speed into turns. I (used to befor i stripped second) get 50 mph out of it according to my gps i strapped to it but prolly could easily get 65-70.

Awsome, i just droped a .18CVR in my MT2 today, few more runs and it will be fully broken in.

as much as i love my truck i am debating wether to sell it or just sell the nitro engine(nitro isnt my thing) and make it electric, if you think i should just sell the engine and other nitro stuff i have 4 it(fuel, fuel bottle, glow igniter, fuel tank) how much should i sell it 4

I checked the switch on mine. I think I used the stock switch not the spektrum one.

hey dragon. selll your mt2-18ss+ to bigairlife.. he is having problems finding parts for his mt....

bigairlife.. there is little available parts for the original mt1 now. hate to say it... but i would get rid of it and go mt2.

muddy.. glow plugs can be gone and still light up..

the coating on the element gets burned off it eventually.. causing bad starting and flameouts.

the only way to check for sure is to replace it. i buy 4 at a time and keep one good one in my box witha wrnech... if i have problems i swap it to th new one to see if it fixes my problem.. if not then i swap back... and save the new one for when it is needed.

Keith here is the wierd part about the diffs I have niever blown a thing on my mt2 with the tz, only my tsunami with the cvr why are the diffs blowing on the one with less power? Each one has the exact same diffs in it!!!!! im so lost with this problem.....is it from the bigger tires I have on the tsunami?

It could be the bigger tires placing more stress on the diffs. Or maybe the diff cups are not as strong and they are flexing allowing the mesh to open up a little and breaking the gears.

cant be man I put the mt2 cups in the tsunami. the cup was loose tho but I wonder if thats from the gears geiitng shredded the pin that holds the small gears in place was even turned inside the cup. I bet its the tires but then again why am I the only one that blowing them all the time? Im not the only guy that has big tires.

ahh I forgot you changed the cups. It could just be the tires then. I cant think of anything else that could be doing it. Unless its something you do when you are driving it.
