Welcome to the forum.
Are the two trucks you have in the mail brand new or used?
Personally I dont think the sway bar kit is worth the money. Unless you are going to be doing serious on road racing I think its just going to limit your suspension.
Id also stick with plastic spur gears rather then the metal ones. Its a week point in the transmission so if something jams up hopefully you only lose the $4 gear. With the metal gear its not going to strip so that means something else possibly more expensive is going to break.

Glaby if you want to put the 2 speed tranny in then you have to buy the 2 speed kit. It comes with a different shaft and the clutch. I put one in mine and so far so good. I need to change the gearing on it though because the stock gears were intended for and onroad car so its a little to high. The 2 speed tranny fits right in the stock housing. You will need a 2 speed clutch bell though.
As for the wheelie bar, I remember someone saying something about using a Jato wheelie bar on their mt2. I dont remember what post it was though.
Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Well they are both used traded for one of them off of here and the other from ebay. Well the list wasn't a list of parts that I was necessarily going to buy but just a list of things that I have seen people ask for over and over and over on here like the pipes, and swaybars, just trying to help . But anyhow thanks, for the info on the swaybars i thought they might be pretty cool to have. And one of the MT2's that is supposed to be on the way is suppsedly a RS4 MT2 and it has some weird looking engine in it but whateva just glad to be getting a nitro again. I traded my old nitro for a E-savvy and it just wasn't my thing. A bit too quiet for me and the convenience of just adding more go go juice as opposed to recharging batteries is just way better.

I beleve you are going to have to drill some new holes in the chassis for the mount, and your going to have to cut up some if the plastic parts on the rear/left side of the motor.

hey guys! So I made the mistake of beliving that the new 2 speed kit (with the threaded pinion gears) also used a different spur set, one with three pins... So as you all laugh at my mistake i will give peice of mind to those who thought they changed their design and say that they are still the same spurs. Just ordered my new threaded clutch bell and every spur and pinion i could get my hands on, avoiding the crazy 20t+ pinions. Right now im working on getting some high speed out of the 2nd gear and some solid punch out of the 1st gear for more controllable drifts. I went back to the single spped after stripping second and was extremely dissapointed in my car and was starting to think of selling it. But the two speed will bring back the happiness. Ill let u know of the best drifting gear combo.

I keep reading all this stuff about trying to make the MT2 do wheelies, I am pretty happy to know that it is hard to make them do wheelies. I used to have a nitro stampede and all that thing would do was pop wheelies. It got really old not being able to steer the darn thing, it was nearly uncontrollable until I put stick on tire weights in the front end. Anyways, now I am off topic and rambling so that's all.

I found with the stock tires that they came with mine would lift the front end from a dead stop, but now im running 5inch proline baclands and i dont have that problem anymore.

Cheepest way would be use the mounts you have and drill out some new holes....keep in mind you will need to make the holes wide like egg shaped so you can move the motor side-to-side

Looks good dude! Run it for a tank then richin' up up a little then run it a few more tanks riching it up each time when you get about 5-6 tanks in or when you notice that its starting to run like crap set it back to factory settings, then from there richin it out again untill it runs like crap then lean it out 1/8 of a turn and you should be running like a champ. Then its just a matter of your RPM and setting your break. Good Luck!

I love em, they grip really good on dirt. I used to beable to do 360's and with thos i cant it just grabs. The only problem of flipping is on grass at high speed turns.

Sweet man I think Im going to get a set for my mt2 but the only worry I have is how much my diffs are going to like them. I have the mt2 18ss drivetrain in my tsunami and im always blowing diffs even with a less powerful engine then my mt2 has.

Its is the front or rear diffs you keep blowing?......you could always lock them lol.
