How do you have a 3 shoe clutch? Its got to be a savage fly flywheel or something like it. Closeest thing like that for the MT2 is the racing clutch.

Just wanted to post a video of my car i just put the motor back on after a dismal performance by my axial .28rr
i think the gas is bad because i never tune my motors much but i didn't have the motor all the way at temp. i never liked these tires but they work well at the mall or new parking lots but there on dirty asphalt today and i have zero traction .

sweet mt2 asystemerror.

the different holes in that clutch just determine when the shoes engage the hole on the end will make it kick in sooner and the one in the middle more will make it kick in later giving you better take off

hey guys i have a question, everyone on here seems to be running .18's and bigger engines, i have the hpi nitro star t-15 and i'm having trouble with the one way bearing failing. at first i could remove it, hit it with some nitro/bearing cleaner and it would be good for awhile. but now that doesn't seem to work. the guy at the lhs said not to use bearing cleaner, and he said that the rear plate is bad and replacing it would stop this problem. so i say ok, lets order one, to which he says that hpi has discontinued most parts for the t-15, the back plate being one of those discontinued items. so i am wandering, does anyone here have a back plate that they are not using? if so, let me know. i want to replace the engine with the .18, but i'd like to run the stock engine till it is dead. so any help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks all.

Your LHS should still be able to get them. I know mines can. Have you tryed ebay or some other online RC shop? If you end up not finding anything you will not dissapointed with an O.S. .18 motor. I almost wish i got mine sooner!

Anyone here use the dirt hawgs???? How do they perform? I just mounted them on the mt2 I cant wait till I can test them out. But I lost one wheel nut so I cant even play

I have a really bad problem here. I just took the cvrx out of my other car and ripped it appart. Its full of rust on the starter shaft and crank. I cant get the sleeve out. Any ideas??????? Heat maybe??????? All the fuel that I use said that its got crap in it to stop rust and I asked the hobby shop about it and they said that I didnt need after run oil but here is the crazy part I have used after run oil in it just about every time.

looks like someone's getting some traction ! i just cooked a set of shoe myself from brake drag i think. on the other hand i think i will put the picco max back on because the lrp is just plain scary to run in my video i never went pass 1/3 throttle and with the traxxas tires things could get dangerous the wheelie was the first i've every seen from them. but i will be picking up a set of geolanders i've had the best luck with the stock tires.

eminentguitar is the tz really strong ? i've ran my picco max for 2 tanks but i stripped my first gear from improper mesh it did look good while it lasted. i need to be sure that when the truck goes to second the motor has power to keep haullin.
would be nice to use the mid block again.

Really strong man its a killer engine and a fair price to. I think its gotta be the meanest .18 out there (stock) here is a revo doing wheelies with a tz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA_e1...eature=related and a twin engine truggy that revo does a wheelie when he hits second gear.

Alright i stuck my old flywheel on and used the only clutch pads i have (racing clutch/most torque) and i hate it. On the other hand i only have one tank of fuel left so once thats done i have to wait 2 weeks untill i can get some more and a new racing clutch.

But man i tell ya, i love how any nitro car/truck draws a a lot of people to come have a look. I had about 10 kids watching and when your running 5inch tires that grab like no tomorrow on pavement it dose some nice flips when taking a corroner REALLY fast!!

Hey everyone!

I need some advice from MT2 G3.0 drivers! I've read through the onwers manual and they claim you should be running in the 230 degree range and anything over 250 will damage the engine. I haven't touched a thing from factory settings, have loads of smoke coming from the pipe (so I know it's rich) and my temps run in the high 200's to low 300's. Any thoughts or advice?

Thanks in advance for all your help!
