It all depends on your budget. If trying to keep the costs reasonable - the OS Max .12CV-RX and the Fantom FR12 are both great, powerful engines that are also race legal and will drop right in with no modifications. If wanting something even faster, there are plenty of other engines, but these will be rear exhaust, have an SG shaft, and a slide carb - so minor mods will bre required for them to fit.

i would go with a .15 not a .12, the nitro mt is 4-wheel drive it needs a little extra OOOmph to spin the wheels. Probaly an o.s. like nitro addict said.
