wrong forum there buddy, i suggest moving this to the savage forum. but im guessing that the .46 you speak of is a 4 stroke. if so i wouldnt do it, it will be slower, maybe a little more torque.

oh ok i see. i dont think it would work for a gt if thats what you mean, because the savage is ment for a big block, and the .46 would be even bigger. a .46 would have alot more low end torque than a small block such as the one on your gt, but you would really have to change the gearing to achieve the same top speed. im guessing that it wouldnt be possible to gear it to do over 30mph with a .46

Eric, you may be right about the gearing, it is a low RPM motor. It is form the truckzilla kit. 4.8 hp and it burns 2-stroke glow fuel; it is a 2 stroke.... To help offset the lower than stock RPMs the kit comes with mega-huge tires which add a bit more back on the top.

I am surprised a mod hasn't moved this yet.

are you sure its a 2 stroke? alot of those 4 stroke airplane engines use mixed fuel just like 2 stroke engines.

Yeah its a two. Look at the heads, if it is a pushrod motor with valves, they stick out like a sore thumb.

the truckzilla is a 2stroke 4.8 hp 23.000 rpm short stroke with very hi compression. they suggest using gloves for the pullstart for the first 10 11 tanks and lossening the glowplug till it starts. I just want to know the maufacturer.
