evader pros: stress tech warranty
price
ease
evader cons: breaks too easily
not as upgradeable
rc10gt pros: very hard to break a part-thay just come loose instead of breaking
good quality
many many upgrades
nice engine-easy to tune
rc10gt cons: very cheap radio, ok steering servo, but i stripped my throttle servo how cheap is that
stock tires wear to the foam if you drive on concrete

ive had the electric evader(i assume theyre the same quality-wise) and the rc10gt, and i would definitely pick the gt. the stress tech warranty only lasts for a year. i bought at least 20-30 replacement parts for the electric car that goes slower than the gas car, and only 3-4 parts for the gt. i had them both for a year
as for buggies, ive never had one but i guess they break easier than st's?

I believe alot of the XXX nt stuff can fit on the evader. I think. From that pic it looks like the ball cups, the turnbuckles, possibly the front shock towers.

They seem to both be great trucks but if ur racing get the rc10. HAve u looked into a xtm x-cellerator. They rock!

I have a Nitro Evader, and I believe that if you don't want to spend a lot of money and still go fast, get the Evader.

Good: Tires, Bigger engine, Better stock parts(shocks alone are worth $200), Better servos and transmitter, t6 alumminum chassis(can't beat it). ALL AROUND BETTER CAR

Bad: Starting problems(I got a bump box and it fixed that right up)

I have to disagree. I have an Evader also. But, if I had known last Christmas what I know today, I would have bought a RC10GT instead.

Better stock parts? You really believe the evader shocks are worth 200 bucks? lol This man needs therapy! Oh and "fixing" your engine problems by using a starterbox is really stupid.

Thats what I thought until I monokoted my Control line racer with chrome. Soon as it hit the sun, the vid recorder guy said my prop nearly it the ground. I couldn't see the rest of the flight... someone helped me keep it up in the air... lucky me.

but i am not bashing but like the rc10 has been around for ever and it has so much stuff you can go with metal hop ups or rpm evader dosent have much. the rc10 i would have to say is the easiest car to work on due to all the free space. it isnt jammed like all the others.
