Need new diff gear, what to get?

Hey i think i fried my diff thats in my xxx-nt sport because i put a 2nd hand fr.12 in it today and the diff didnt take it to kindly. This motor is so strong and so fast!(Well i think it is). What diff or diff gears should i get so i wont be able to kill it again! Part numbers and name Pls

no the but you should have used the search button because this answer has been posted numerous times.
Get the RRP gear.
new balls, and new rings, have a fresh rebuilt differentail, oh yeah get the losi white grease because the aluminum differential has the "broken in" feel so the balls will just about slide righ through it, so you need the grease to keep them in place when you put it together.
Remember you can still run the the stock differntial, just keep in mind your SLIPPER has to slip before your DIFFERNTIAL does.

oh thankx for the reply madblunted, is this the gear i need to get? part no. 9500 - Losi XXX NT Hardened Aluminum Diff Gear? What are rings?

you can still pay the 3 bucks for a replacement differential, or the 15 bucks for the aluminum one. I personally have gone w/ the aluminum one. but if you adjust the slipper correctly you can save a few bucks and still use the "stock" differntial the cheaper one. But you will have to make sure its adjusted correctly, and the slipper is slipping before the differential.

you can get the part cheaper from ebay or your LHS possibly. The rings are available from horizonhobby.com or someplace that sells losi stuff. I am sure you can the the robinson racing differential gear there.
