Default Engine Cough?

Ok, i have my little CV-RX OS .15 max engine (the $90 one on tower) and i went and decided to drive my truck today. It started up ok, and when i hit the gas the muffler didnt sound right, it wasnt as loud as usual and sounded clogged. So i hit the throttle and half throttle it shutted off. I went inside and cleaned out the pipe and alot of nitro came out.

I went back outside and put the pipe on and started it up again. this time it was a little louder but still moved slow and didnt seem right. I tried to lean it, nothing happened, i tried richining it, nothing happened.

Help Im confused. []

I was gonna say... You got a he!! of a deal! I was trying to figure some way to pry some cash from the wife.

Just going on you description I would guess you may have lost some compression. That will usually change the exhaust note a little. Other than that I would imagine you already checked the drive line to make sure everything was cool. How much fuel have you run through this one? You know that your not the easiest person on their equipment

Get a new air filter foam, new oil.

next if that dont work, I would take the motor out, take it apart and spray the inside w/ electric motor spray and clean out all that gunk that blue thunder puts in the motor. I know cause traxxas fuel does that same thing.
Then try it out.

That's cool, You didn't say that you had the engine apart before it started running bad.

isnt there a guide pin on the block and a little notch on the sleeve that assures an accurate line up. and those holes in the sleeve are called ports.
