Ive got a Duratrax evader ST and, although i know how to get to the differential adjustment, i dont know what it should be set to. The instuctions say it should be adjusted after 2-3 tanks of fuel and then "Just snug, then out 1/8 of a turn". At 2-3 tanks, it was FAR past "Snug", so i didnt tighten it anymore. Right now ive turned it until it stops, then out 1/4 turn. Is this bad for the diff? Can any evader owners tell me how they adjusted it?
thanks

Leaving the diff alone and letting it run loose can end up doing a lot of damage to it and then youll be rebuilding it sooner than need be! If you tighten the diff as instructed above by amsterdamn you should be good to go! Running a diff too loose causes the balls to rub against the diff rings and overheat due to too much friction and the heat can melt the plastic diff gear! I know because I did that many times when I was first starting out in RC.

how do you know when its been damaged? Mine seems a little gritty.... and when i pick it up and spin one wheel, they both turn in the same direction, however it isn't hard to turn them both in different directions if i grab both. Whats wrong?
