Hello All.
Beating A Dead Horse On This Thread Most Likely .
Anyway I Need Some Advice For A Durable FASTER Eng Than The .15 O.S Max CV-R .(sticking w/ a .15) Also In Need Of A Killer Tuned Pipe !

Look into the Epic .18 (i know its not .15 but its pretty dang fast....)
Its 1.8 hp at 39000 rpm.... if i replace the engine in my evader, that will be my engine... 140 bucks on towerhobbies
Or you could put on a TRX 2.5 if you really want speed over power. 50,000 rpm at 1.3 hp there.... both are smallblock engines that will fit

is the TRX 2.5 a .18 ? Dont know that eng .

It'll drop right into that Evader but it will abuse your stock clutch... Also think about a clutch bell off of a nitro Evader BX (buggy), it has 1 or 2 more teeth, I forget which... Anyway, it will give you more top end. Even with the taller gear it will still accelerate much faster than stock from the torque difference, and going faster from such a cheap part... , sweet. I love my Epic but the pull start had to go.

the s/t is a 15t the bx is a 17t . so the epic .18 is the way to go ?
