i got some new rims and i need some help getting the tires off the old rims

try using some acatone which is nail polish remover.

and a x-acto knife if things gets really bad. Also some strong fingers can sometimes rip the bead off! I know have on occasion!

Yep boil water and stick them in it it should disamble most of the glue

if there is a spot that isnt glued then what i do is take a small flat head srewdriver and slide it along the bead of the tire.

If your going to boil your tires to get rid of glue, watch them closely. and try not to let the tire rest on the bottom of the pot.

if so then you'll have rubber soup.

You only want to heat up the glue so you can get it off the tire. nothing else.

I know guys that have ruined tires this way so be careful

hmm aren't they corrosive to rubber and plastics? unless your ditching the old ones... well boiling is still the best way to get em old tires off.

And as Tweedybird said don't go and run off or else you have a rubber plastic soup.
