Very low HP! A very reliable motor but there are better choices! Looks to be the .12 CV-X. Check out his link only.56HP.

If its only.56 hp that isnt the greatest and i know that these engines are very reliable but still you can get a Thunder Tiger .12 with 1.0 h.p. at 31,000 rpm's for about a hundred dollers less (cdn Thunder Tiger $99.00 and the o.s. is from $150-199 cdn) And the Thunder Tiger has twice the amout of power and IMHO the same reliability!

If you put both of those engines on a dyno you'd find out how wrong those hp numbers are. O.S. consistanty under-rates their motors. The .18 was rated by OS for what, 1.2hp? Its actually somewhere closer to 1.6 or 1.7 according to rcca if i remember right. The .12 max isn't a power house, but i ran one for 7 years on my GT and it never ever gave me problems, and always had the power i wanted to have a good time. Anyway the point is don't be stupid and buy your engines based on the manufacturer's hp ratings as they mean nothing. Go by what people's experiences have been with them in r/l.

But if manufactures under rate there motors that would probably mean that thunder tiger does the same so eather way you will get more power from the Thunder Tiger i know i am VERY impressed with it because it has 2 times the power that the GX-15(.15) had and im sure in the summer it will pull wheelies!!!Right now on dry cement in the middle of my power band i can hammer it and it will rappidly increase in RPM and spin out because of the unreal power so i highly recommend this engine!!

OS is the only company that does it consistently.
TTR has never proven to do so.
