Default New engine for st 15

Well, the carb on the stock tower hobbies .15 is pretty much broken, and instead of buying a new one, I figured that I would just buy a new engine. I was considering these. Which would be the fastest? Which would be the most reliable? And which would last the longest. Also, how much increace in performance would I notice??

I would say the OS, they are great engines and easy to tune. Plus they pack alot of power.

That's pretty generous. Karma goes your way

Jimmmaaa:
If you decide to go with new, You can't go wrong with OS. That .18 CVR may be too powerful.... unless you're looking for extreme speed and power.

trx1, still have that? I've got a standard engine in my st 15 now that I'm needing replacement parts on the engine, it would be nice to retire mine, or at least use the salvagable parts out of both of them.

The OS is the fastest and the one with the smoothest powerband. The WASP .18 only has TWO intake ports, the "third" is just a bypass. It is made up of ABN and a cheap con rod and cheap crankshaft. Your best bet is the OS 18.
