Where is a good site to get better chassis and suspension parts? I am looking for a titanium or something similar to that for my chassis and suspension.

Nick where did you get that chasis? It looks really thick. Do all the screws have plenty of length?

I got it here http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Traxxas-Jato...QQcmdZViewItem

It says it is 3mm think i am pretty sure that is the same thickness as stock chassis it feels the same. I think it looks thicker because it dose not slope up on the ends like the stock one. It just stays flat. As for the screws i have not noticed anything yet but i have only put on what you see in the pics. My LHS did not have a top plate or 2nd gear. So i am waiting for those to parts before i put the rest on. I did get the rear drive shafts installed.

Are there any upgrades for the Jato brakes? Mine were fine and last week the tranny case melted for some reason and the brake piston won't budge. Figure since its all apart I might as well upgrade.

Heres a pic of miamiz jato with a metal disk brake. I know he is not the first or only person with it and it has been dissuced somewhere in this thread. Maybe he rembers where he got it. I think you used to be able to get it on ebay. I searched the other day with no luck. [:@]

NOt sure but the equation is diff teeth/topshaft teeth right? Diff has 38t but tower says the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKMM2&P=7]single speed[/link] has 20/30t what ever that mean. I know you know a lot more then me so maybe you can figure it out based on what i said cuz i am not sure. LOL.

it drops by about seven to ten mile an hour or so, and acceleration picks up pretty good

anybody else have problems with the stock driveshafts, mine keep coming off the pivot ball, and are the ends are twisted like no other...i know traxxas makes the steel cv shafts, and vantage makes the carbon fiber shafts, both are the same price, so which do you think would be better suited

I just installed the 2nd gear set and when i went to throw away the old one i noticed there was a ball bearing inside it. My guess is the new one did not come with that bearing but i have the truck put back together. Dose anyone know for sure if the bearing comes with a new second gear or not? Or do i have to take it back apart to put the old bearing in...

it doesnt come with a bearing...im 99% sure. and motorhead unless you have a rear exhaust pipe or something then thats not the problem. im thinkin you hit something and didnt notice and something is crooked and causing it to pop off
