i think the guy that makes those is on this site. His own personal set are aluminum(spell check). found them browing one of these sites. maybe it could have been the traxxas forums as well tho. If you search he shows them installed. Ive got a spare few sets but ill deff upgrade later on.

Can someone please tell me the easiest way to remove the rear battery box so I can put on the lighter wheelie mount. I unscrew pretty much everything at the back end but cant work it out.

Also the chargeing jack on the car, do I need to somehow feed the connection through from the receiver box myself? Otherwise I have to open the receiver box to charge it.

Thanks for any help here.

Dave

My jato wont stop rolling forward. I turned the idle down so much that it stalled when the brakes where applied. I have checked the clutch pads they look the same size as new ones but are a diff color. Anyone have any ideas?

I guess i was talking about the slipper shoes before. But i just took off the clutch bell and looked at the clutch shoes and spring and they look ok. The only thing is the shoes is shaped like a oval not really a circle. Think that could be the problem?

I did have the carb off a while ago. But i have had this problem for a while to. Anyways after messing with the idle i got it so it barley moves. I had it set so the linkage was not even touching the throttle until i pulled the trigger a little to stop from the mentioned abover problem. Its just weird!

To relube the diff just take off the diff cover. Unscrew the last 2 screws on the under side of the chassis. Then there is 2 or 4 more on the diff cover. The diff cover is connected to your bumper or bat box.

I use 100k diff oil.

You have to pull the diff out from the tranny case and open the diff up to add oil.

Correct. Did you open the actual diff or just the tranny case. The diff slides out from the tranny. You have to split the diff apart. You can use a standard shock oil to fill teh diff. The thicker you go the better the traction you will get.

Factory it has 30wt. You may want something more like 80wt or even up to 100 wt.
