no pics yet sorry ive not done any work on it for 2 weeks will put some time for it just got coursework etc i will do it just im not so reliable

as for the o.s yes you will need to get mounts look back a bit and ive put links up for somone else. in the uk there arnt so meny good pipes as say the u.s but ive heard the associated rc10 ones are good and the tsais ones are good as are the mielke ones there all readily avalible in the u.k may i ask why a 15 not and 18 a few peps run the o.s 18's with succses but with any upgrade engine i think the heavy duty middle gear is a good idea id gear it up a little to.o and youll just need a pipe the stock headers good

quick question about engines

wich one will fit in my original rush : the 18cv-rx (s) or the 18cv-rx . whats the difference why does it have an *S*?

also will the t-15 be a direct fit? no motor mounts needed? and can i be able to swap the clutch, flywheel, and clutch bell from a nitrostar 15FE?

thx in advance
Rick

yep there a good entry into nitro and tough as nails however there not a raceing truck and aren't intended to be but yeah god first time truck however id go for a firestorm as the parts will be avalible for longer and its got proper bellcrank stering and a better engine lower cg and bigger fuel tank i know its £40 more but id get that if i were buying again or a e-savage or a associated t4

get the standard crank use the stock clutch etc id advise you get the racing clutch as for cb depends what your using it for off road, draging, jumping but id gear it 56spur 18tooth cb
thats what ive found to be a good balance with my nosram rs18

Hi im new to nitro r/c's and am thiking of buying a rush evo, I was wondering weather to get it with a rotostart or a pullstart. What are the pros and cons?

Also do you think they a are good trucks for begginers or is there better things on the market?
Thanks, Bluewhittington.

they are very good for beginners, easy to use, considerable speed and handling
and for the pullstart or rotostart the roto akes things easier, but it is another thing to remember and charge and the pull start is harder work but will most of the time always work

i cant exactly explain but theres a grove on the nut holding the flywheel on and you have to first put the hole in the shoe then get the bent end with the 45 degree bend to sit in the groove and put the hole over the pin coming of the flywheel sorry no pic as my sister wont let me use her camera but im working on that

ive been advised by my mum and the doctor to give up nitro rc as it affects my asthma so i think im gonna be selling the rush i mean yesturday i started it up yeserday and i had to use my inaler strait away anyway this gets me to the point what shall i ask and are there any offers reasonable ones please especially as i put approx £190 to it in september gone and have bills from the lhs to prove it that includes a £100 nosram rs18 thats only had a quater gallon of fuel threw it and is known to propell the rush past 60mph and many other things such as start up gear, and upgrades, and a ported t15 less the pullstart in the deal any inquieries just p.m me o yeah and id only consider overseas if the shipping is pre paid like before i ship you pay will post pics soon

hi mate, sorry to hear bout the astma... ya'll ave see if there's any gud battery cars out there... i liked ya northern accent.. its great innit!!! lol As for the engine; sorry i not replied b4 now but i've just got back from hols, i didn't get that one, but he has put a few on ebay so he must get then alot.. i'll save mi pennies up now an get one bought. Didn't wanna be spendin too much b4 mi hols.
Mi steel spur an clutch bell ave arrived but it looks like i have to get some bearins to go in the clutch bell cause the original one looks differant.. i think i need 2 of the ones that fits on the spur gear.. but a little smaller

i always speak northan from manc innit buzzin lol
yeah i had the same problem with my nosram a trip to the lhs later and i had some shumacher needle bearing my stock bearings fitted the cb but not the shaft i think its the one on the rascal or the havoc but not to sure i dont have the packaging to check

well if i do sell my rush i got an associated rc18t so thatll be fun for a while but thinking about the new traxxas rustler but the only place in uk is modelsport or the hpi e-savage but im buying a bmx so until i get that no more rc spendy spendy as pocket money dont go to far

welcome to the forum yeah the prolines fit on the rush rims but try thr hpi geolanders or the dogg bones , the proline dirt works or the gladiator 2 would be a better choice for as its a more all round set up
for speed change the gearin and get a new pipe and airfilter
gearing cost about £10-£12 for a spur and clutch bell combo(both)
a good pipe is the mielke one made for the rush for £28 :the stock i balls and this works well with the stock header as the stock header is of good quality
hpi make a good airfilter for £12:the stock is s**t
and edit make bearing kits for the rush for £10 but im not to sure not much increase in speed but a little
thats basics i think just depend what you willing to spend most of that can be found on mirage uk site sorry i didnt have the time to serch for everything but i got the pipe and the airfilter the gearing and bearings are on there youll just have to look

heres the pipe it looks like a shopping list but you just print it off a take it to your lhs-[link=http://www.mirageracing.com/shoplist.php?func=add&id=MK1605P]mirage shopping list[/link]
heres the airfilter description-http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=87207
here the mirage link-[link=http://www.mirageracing.com/shoplist.php?func=remove&id=MK1605P] airfilter mirage[/link]

hope that helps matey

thanks for you help mate. Is there any cheaper pipes tht offer simualr perfomance that you know of? Also i am wanting a little more ground clearance from my rush, what would help this ( without it being to complicated or exspencive). thanks for your help.
