How Do you get it off?
I just bought a brand new aluminum flywheel for my evader but I can't seem to get the engine clutch nut off. The clutch nut is in the picture below.
If you have any ideas let me know!

Get a socket wrench and the corresponding size needed, get an old towel, and wrap the towel around the flywheel and try to grip it while you turn the socket wrench. If that doesnt work, get a crankshaft locking tool. they are the best! Why are you replacing the flywheel anyway? it looks in good shape. If your putting on a lightened flywheel, it kills your idle..[:-]

Well, it will have less momentum to keep the engine running. I don't know about killing your idle, but I have never gotten a lightend flywheel so I cannot be sure. But it should increase your low end some.

does it really kill my idle, I bought a new lightened and vented flywheel.

while it DOES affect the idle consistency (not by much, but you will need to raise your idle) the performance gains are quite impressive. Acceleration will increase quite a bit. And even weak engines (like my kyosho GX15) can wheelie on demand with this flywheel.

Don't waste your money on a crank locking tool. Simply fill the cylinder with after run oil, or fuel, and put an old plug back in. This will hydro-lock the engine which I would much prefer to do as opposed to pressing a chunk of metal against the piston.
