RE: need tuning sugestions
Do some searching here and around the web. There is a TON of info on this. General rule of thumb for long engine life is run rich obviously. Start with what the manufacturer says for break in and only go lean enough to get it running well without coughing and choking. You should always see at least some smoke IMO. Most often the low speed needle needs very little adjustment, so set that at factory settings and it should be ok. If you notice sputtering when you gun the throttle, lean the low out just a bit.

RE: need tuning sugestions
Some tips that help are:
-the high end needle and low end needle are somewhat connected...you need to tune the high speed first
-to tune the HSN, run the car wide open down the street but not too long...if you see smoke and it runs slow, it is probably rich. The exhaust note will sound fat and sluggish. If you go too lean, the performance will start to go down. The engine might quit while running at full speed, the engine will sound thin and raspy, and no smoke will appear...always start rich and slowly lean out the high speed needle to find the sweet spot and learn the sounds. Use a temp gun and run between 210-240 deg F or use the spit test - a drop of water on the head near the glowplug should evaporate in a couple seconds...if not, it is too rich and too cool, if it bubbles off real quick and the engine sounds creaky or smoky it is too lean and hot
-Rich low end causes stalling and flooding on start-up, with a low idle speed and burbling sound...fuel may spit out the pipe or pour out when u tilt the car.
-Low end is for idle, don't do more than 1/8th turn increments at a time...u should be able to leave the car and it should not die...make sure to turn in the idle screw too. Also, when u punch the gas from a stop it should pull away quick...if it bogs it may be too rich
-Lean low end causes high/erratic idle, engine may die to lack of fuel.
20% fuel like blue thunder would be best, just use break in settings as a starting point if you get lost and slowly lean out the high speed needle(righty tighty) til you find it runs fast and smooth. good luck...
