Color changing paint job pics !!!!!! What da ya think
I just painted a new body for my Evader, also added most all the aluminum hop-ups available. Front and rear suspension parts and a RPM head. This is only a 2 color paint job, but both colors are flip-flop colors that I sell for a living. The rear is Mystic Teal that flips green/purple and the front is Red /Yellow/orange/violet flip-flop.
Wht do ya think????????????????????????[:-]

I don't know, I'll find out this weekend
I have done a half dozen bodies now, none have cracked... I add flex to my paint to make it flexable and durable. I haven't had any problems with adhesion or cracking. This is not a "shelf queen" , what fun would that be

Here is the link to the technology that makes color shifting paints possible. Some cool pics here too. Check it out !
[link=http://www.colorshift.com/index.php?s=galleries&category=06_automotive#]colorshift paint company[/link]
I rep for a paint company that purchases these pigments and puts them in our paint for sale to the automotive community, price is about $175.00 a pint. There are spray cans available for quite a bit less usually at an autoparts store. I'm not sure if the spray can stuff is as good or as drastic as the real deal, but won't cost ya an arm and a leg, or in my case a lot of begging from your boss.Be sure to put black on behind it, white will not work well.

sledmannass ,
I actually have had great luck with the paint I use. I use a clear plastic adhedion promoter made for the automotive paint industry, spray it in first, them put a catalist in my basecoat color to give it flexability, have not had any problems with cracking, even with the bodies nearly a year old now. I painted a nerf ball for a clinic I put on for a bunch of autobody guys and it doesn't crack when you squeeze it. paint can be made flexable if you use the right products.
