Problem with radio and/or the ESC
I got a Traxxas Rustler that needed some work. I got it all together last night and everything worked fine. So I took it out for a test drive. When the truck gets over 25-20' away it starts to cut out. Almost like its loosing signal. Can the ESC cause this? Or does this sound like a radio problem? The ESC is a MC330CR. The radio is a stock Traxxas TQ2.

it sounds like a radio problem
check your crystals
make sure the antenna is in good shape (make sure the wire is not broke inside of the plastic protective covering)
have a friend hold the truck and walk away from each other and see if it starts twitching and glitching
