Hello,
I am new to this forum, and I would like to thank in advance to anyone who helps me out!
I am new to the RC world and i wanted to get into it a lil cheap(i know) and I bought a used HPI Nitro rush EVO from someone on Ebay, it starts good, and its in good quality but I am having some motor issues. As you may or may not know there is a high speed needle, a low speed needle, and the idle RPM needle on this T-15 Engine. Heres the promblem that is happening...I gas it up, prome it, get it started, let it warm up a little bit, and start to play with it, as im going, it will go full throttle a few times, and then it starts to bog down. I will drive it back to me, under medium throttle and examine it, all is wll i give it some gas, and it goes, but I will go full throttle again not too much longer after that and then it will stall out on me[&o], I have made both the low speed and the high speed needles more rich, with little effects( although i dont know how much I should turn it) this is what it has done pretty much every time that I run it. At full speed there is plenty of exhaust, i dont think it's the high speed needle (although I'm not sure) can someone help me out maybe point me in the right direction, I appreciate it.
**Edit** I have changed the glowplug, and have had the engine checked and its putting up about 55 on the guage.
Thank You

hi if you set your neddles back to factory settings and start leaning them from there you should get it heres how
first your low speed neddle should be flush with its housing this is its factory setting
the high speed neddle should be turned all the way in then 3 turns out
then start leaning the high speed neddle first until its running fast with some blue smoke then and only then lean your low speed
hope this helps

Just for future reference, if your car is bogging down like that (as in it sounds like there is too much fuel for the engine and not enough air to properly burn) then your needle(s) are too rich. However, if this happens and it sounds like there isn't enough fuel and it isn't gurgling at all, then it is too lean. I have the T-15 engine and it is pretty easy to tune. Just get it to the point where it doesn't cut out at all, but keep it on the rich side if you're just bashing so that your engine lasts longer. If you want to keep it, that is.
Sorry if there are some grammatical errors or spelling errors, but I'm extremely tired right now and I'm not really paying attention to anything. So, please excuse any errors I might have made.
Good luck with the engine, and have a good time! Also, if you still have that ridiculously stupid stock air filter, change it! That thing is worthless. Get a MotorSaver filter, and you'll see a huge performance increase. You can't beat the performance increase with the money you spend on it.
