RE: Official Nitro Evader ST Thread v2.0
I just got my evader on monday. So there are still new people buying them.
I've got several plans for mine but right now just trying to get the tuning down. Got held back today after breaking the front shock tower. I ordered several parts from my LHS today which should be in on friday. So i'll be back then.

No problem. Yea, it seems alot of people have bailed on their evaders. [:@] I have 2 evaders and had them for about 8 months. I'm not sure Home Depot would have those screws. You could check those specialty screw bins they have, you never know what you might find. Good luck!

Nice! I am going outside now to be on my evader in the snow and sleet! As you can tell, I am "working" from home today!

Oh man! That was awesome!!!!! There is like 2" of snow out there, and a thin frozen crust of ice and sleet on top of that, so I was just running the evader WOT and it would float on top and drift all over my yard! It had like a 10 foot turning radius from drifting and was shooting like a 3 rooster tail of sleet and ice! Working from home is awesome!!!!!

I just ordered a piston and sleeve for my '05 fantom FR12 for less than $40, and that's from a retailer. Don't exactly need it yet, my current piston and sleeve is still going strong. But I couldn't pass up a deal like that. Still too cold for me to take my truck down to the track and have much fun. Looking forward to late spring and summer though.

the bonus about living here in Australia, it's good to run all year round. as long as it isn't raining, or too hot like this weekend which will be 40 Deg C, that's 104 F. think i'll sit inside & fly the heli, or go to the beach.

That sounds awesome Dicko! I think I am living in the wrong place for RC. I have to make do with the snow, rain, cold, etc.... [&o]

Ok, this is my very first try painting a body! It looks better than the pics. The metallic in the black makes the picture look wierd. I know I cut the body for the shocks but I like the MAD MAX kind of look. Plus it looks like twin turbos lol. What do ya think?

Hey Marine - Your evader sold for $172.50! NICE! It's rare to see a used one with the DTX .18 still in it go off for that high a price. Good job!

I painted them, they are a mask you put on first, then painted it blue. Here is one more pic. Only problem is when I painted the blue it bled into the black screwing them up so I tried to hide it with the F350 decal Camera is crap, sorry!

that is what it is designed for, ie why its called drill start lol, ive got a 20v cordless drill that i used, i only used it for breakin to save the strain on the PS, so i used the drill for roughly 2 litres, then onto the PS as i love PSs, never used the drill since, alot of people complain about oooo my PS broke, ive been using the PS for 4ish gallons and not 1 glitch, u just gotto know what u doin with it
