hey there guys

I will be taking my truck out soon for the first time this season, I have a question that I hope somebody could help me with. Should I set my needle setting back to factory settings before running my truck ( the last time I ran it was in the fall ) also I have switched fuels going from blue thunder to sidewinder fuel.

Thanks for any help guys

Jeremy
no, leave your needles as you last had them, and tune from there. Factory settings are way to rich. If you changed nitro %, that will affect your tune. But switching brands with the same nitro % shouldn't be too big of a change.

yeah i would shake the cobwebs out the 1st tank but she will run right back into place

question,
im not raceing and im realy just looking to rebuild my evader back into a decent bullet proof truck for light bashing/running. my question is like the savage has dogbones and those things were just easy to deal with and got the job done. will the dog bones from the electric evader EXT and output cups work or would they be worth geting. i got like 2-2.5 gallons on my cvds and they egged out and were bad. would dog bones be a good bullet proof upgrade or just a snap and crap upgrade?
nothin against the cvds by the way just wondering in terms of long use and abuse who would stand up better or if it just wont work?
jw thanks

was it a nitro evader? or normal and how hard was it to install or normal like cvds? jw if u needed any other parts for it or those 2 will drop in and go

also idk if this has ever been brought up but u know how u lose eclips and the pin drops out. i tryed useing a thread pin from my rustler (they theread in to the a arm and capture the rest) and the small ones works for the C hubs and the biger ones are a little long and a little thick but u take a drill bit and lightly open it (dosnt need much to get it in) and cut the rest off and u wont have to worry about eclips in the front if your looking for bash ready. i have not tryed the rear rusty pins in the rear evader yet is the rear A arms but the small ones go right in the c hub and rear hub.
just an idea.

it was an evader it was easy, just take the pins out of the cvd's then pull them out and put the dog bones in and put the pin in and bolt the tire on and go

lol yeah u should see how my evader looks right now [X(] it was my 1st ever truck and i didnt know much about how important it is to keep up on all the right mantence and it just turned into crap. im missing screws everywere and now im looking back on my work like thats not mine.....

now that ive had a savage and now into electric were you can tell were somethings suffering easyer ive learened alot and it wont be hard to get this thing rollin in no time. but yeah put out a 15$ tower order for mostley hardwere. im gona salavage what all i got and get what i got remounted on the chassi and replace what i need. get the dog bones and just use my idler and diff till one blows then go to the aluminum or hardend steel and just upgrade as i go till i got a decent rig. got a friend gona sell me a .12 or .15 (dont rember the motor he said he has liek 6 of them but probly a o.s) for like 30$ also means ima have to get a starter box but one of the hard moments when i was like 13 was that cheap pull start.... so yeah its gona move up in the world in no time. i just wana have some fun this summer im tired of putin so much $ into it to not get the fun factor out of it because of not being able to realy run anywere but my property so being 16 i can get my drivers licence and get a job this summer and defintly find some bashing spots [8D]

yeah im 16 too but i don't really have to worry about anything because if i go to my grandparents house there's this huge empty lot across the street and their street is not busy at all and with all the pot holes it's a good spot for me to run haha and they have a huge back yard so i can run there too but im kinda down for the moment because i stripped my servo and my spur gear, and i need a motor rebuild, so im down for prolly this month then next month i will have a truck that runs beautifly, the motor i have in it now is just crap it's like an acme .18 motor and wow does it ever raunch

ima get the mip clutch and cvds and w/e airfilter that works but yeah shes comein back got a servo in and breaks adjusted in and shes workin im pleased. now i need a stearing servo/alot of odds and ends like fly wheel manifold clutch nut flanged berings and a clutch bell and the mip clutch. then spur gear (any recomended gearing for a .15 would be a big help semi retarded to nitro still) and to get my turnbucjles back from the rustler and some berings and she be runnin realy in no time[8D]
