awsome?? anyway I prefer the hop-ups avalible!!!!! just my opinion. but they cost much more than stock. Its all about what you use it for. both work ok for one or the other.

The Rustler rocks, a maxx can not out run it, nor, well it COULD possibly out wheelie it, and it can out run a Revo.

i dont think there is much that can beat the rustler not any revo or savage, the only thing i could say that is negative is once you hit around 40 the front lifts up but thats it..

Yeah, I hate that part, it likes to lift up when I gun it, but when I don't, and it's going about that fast and the front starts lifting off, if there is a dip, or bump in the way, you're screwd, cause it's flip time.

Rustys rock once you get them set up right. RPM a-arms, titanium turnbuckles, and a solid rear shock tower and you have one tough truck that flies. You replace the stock batt box with a 5 cell flat pack and mount it in front of the fuel tank and you have a speed demon that doens't have front end lift problems and won't push in the turns as bad. My rusty with the trx 2.5 will run circles around my t-maxx with an o.s. .18 tm in it unless you are running through high grass, extremely rough terrain or hill climbing. And with the rpm arms aluminum rear tower and titanium buckles all the way around, it is one tough SOB.

The XTM .18 in the X-Cellerator is capable of beating it... but they are actually pretty evenly matched. The 2.5 (which is a .15) is obviously slightly smaller that the XTM .18, but it revs a little higher than the XTM. No, it isn't the biggest engine in it's class either. There is the XTM .18, the HPI .18... Then there are a few more .15s
