hi,
i can get hold of a traxxas trx2.5 engine for a bargain price, i wnat too know will it fit the rush evo.

and if so what parts do i need.

pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaasssssssssssssssssssssss ssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee answer quick!!

The mounting holes match so it is possible to put it in your car. But you are going to need a new header for your exhuast because the T-15 in your rush has a side exhast and the Traxxas 2.5 has a rear exhuast. Another thing that wont match up is the T-15 has a rotary carb adn the 2.5 has a slide. You can easily fit this with a switch of some stuff. Just ask someone else on how to redo your truck for a slide carb. Besides the few things that I have mentioned it seems it would fit. See if anyone else can come with anymore ideas.

I wouldn't f with the Traxxas mills. O.S. is the way to go. Your Evo. will thank you.

I'm surprised that nobody brought up the crank issue.

is the engine a standard crank 2.5? if so, it'll drop in with nothing more than a little throttle linkage work and an exhaust manifold and the engine mounts.

if not, you're gonna spend waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time tryin to piece crap together.
