fuel delivery problem w/ nitro evader
I got my new aluminum gear in -which is awesome- and now i have a problem getting fuel to the carb. I ran the about 2 tanks of gas through the truck and it was running great. I filled up the third tank of gas and couldn't get it to start. I put my finger over the exhaust pipe, cranked it a few times, and noticed that no fuel was going to the carb. Please help!! I am going to college next week and i want to play with it before i go. Thanks

The new diff gear wouldnt have anything to do with it. Try a little trick that I do. Pull of the air filter and put a few drops of fuel in side. Open and cloese the carb with the throttle adn put some more drops in. Then put the glow starter on the car and start trying to turn the engine over. I do this an it seems to work for me when my car wont start.

I know the gear had nothing to do with fuel delivery. Thanks for the tips for starting it but that does not solve the problem. It is not pulling any fuel through the line to the motor.

It is most likely an air leak or blockage. Check fuel lines, tank lid o-ring, and tank seam.
OR the main needle on your carb has clogged with tank sediment. Are you using a fuel filter?

^^^ What he said.
To try and troubleshoot:
With an empty tank, pull the fuel line off the carb, and off the exhaust. Blow into the exhaust line. Can you blow through it? If not, you have a blockage somewhere in there. Inspect and clean your fuel filter if you have one, then try replacing fuel lines.
Plug the line that goes into the carb, blow into the exhaust again. Can you still blow air into it? If so you have a leak somewhere. Try holding the tank filler cap down and doing it again. If that stops you from blowing in, then you need to sort out your filler cap. If not, replace all the fuel lines and try again.
If neither of these is the problem, put the line back on the carb and blow again. If you can't blow through, your carb may have a blockage. I've never had one so i'm not sure how to go about cleaning it out.

check and see if you have a pinhole leak in your present fuel line.. whenever I have a problem, the first thing that happens is I replace the fuel line.. it's cheap and usually works..
