Tires for the jato
Hi, Ive had my jato for about a month now and i need some new tires. I was thinking maybe some spiked rear tires and ribbed fronts(2.2's). If anybody could tell me where to find them and some rims to fit the jato that would be great. Thanks

RE: Tires for the jato
If you look at my last post i have a couple pics of the tires i have on my Jato. Proline "Lugnut" in the rear and Proline "The Edge" in the front, with RPM clawz rims. I just recently took them in very very loose dirt and they gripped so well! I never thought I would see that kinda traction in that terrain. The Jato comes with 2.8in rims stock but don't expect to see alot of those size rims and tires on the market because supposedly the Jato hasn't done that well so far. Anyway go pick up some 2.2 rims and some tires at your lhs and your set! O yea, I bought street rims and tires as well, rims by rpm and tires by proline. Don't run the spikes on pavement they'll wear down VERY quickly. Hope that helps!

RE: Tires for the jato
dirt hawgs equal no traction but i have not yet completely worn down a pair. If you are racing, than yeah go with something such as losi's step pins. I have found the proline gladiators have the best traction to wear ratio for bashing.
