Is that a pile of dirt, or a Jato?
These are my jato pics from it's first run in the dirt.(hehe anyone got an air compressor?) Me and my buddy went to these old bmx trails raked all the leaves and shaped all the jumps. Let me tell you this thing rips in the dirt. (with new tires of course) I don't know how many times i flipped, twisted, smashed, and hit trees with the Jato it never let up... all you haters out there don't bother to post you obviously haven't driven one. Soon to come vids and more pics of the Jato in action.

Why do you have your pipe shooting up inside the body? That's why its a mess....you know it's designed to stick out the body not be stuffed inside it...amazing it even works after you oil covered everything, you could have gotten the same results by just dumping fuel all over the inside of it. What was your engine temps with the hot exhaust being shot inside the body? I'm kinda curious to know.

That is really silly having the exhaust pointing that way. Either plug the old pressure line, redrill a new one on the other side...or get the right pipe. Geez if I spill a few drops of fuel on my chassis i go nuts lol...
I can't believe anybody would do something like that, you've got a lot of work to do. That baked on oil/dirt on the engine head needs to go, it's insulation that traps heat in...
You're gonna need more than an air compressor...Total strip and clean.

I have to agree with most of the post. You definitely need to do something about that pipe and take it all apart to clean it very well. I hate to think how much life you took out of the engine do to the heat build up. [X(]

lol geez i come home and i have to answer all these questions... Im not an idiot i promise of course the pipe doesnt go that way[sm=spinnyeyes.gif],i got my truck like 3 weeks ago and drove it like 5 times but only on the road because my tires were bald. Sure enough i smash it into my dads tire WOT. It was going so fast i blew the steering linkage and steering servo and the right front shock and the right a-arm, i even broke the chassis top plate. SO after waiting and waiting for two weeks for the parts and my new tires everything finally comes together today. I"M SORRY [sm=punching.gif] I was in a rush to get it in the dirt, in such a rush that i drilled a hole in the body as you can see in the picture to let the exhaust fumes out because i just felt like driving instead of working on it...i plan on getting a new pipe regardless because i ****ed that one up in the crash. OK now an air compressor isnt good enough? I just put it back together I have to strip it down already?? its dry dirt not that oily

Any idiot can tell that it is oil with dirt stuck to it, you can see where the oil has baked onto the head....

why dont you make it so that pipe shoots down under the chassis? Drill a hole for the exhaust...then you wont have any mud or dirt really...[&:]

RE: Is that a pile of dirt, or a Jato?
i could easily do that because of the dirt guard...i already modified those a bit lol. I do want a good pipe with some low end power, its got plenty of speed but where i ride sometimes its not as big as it should be so i need some "ROCKET FAST ACCELERATION" if you know what i mean
