i replaced the 15fe on my rush evo with a cvr .12 and the truck handles better cause its lighter and alot better top end

mine will wheel stand under the right circumstances.

i already replaced the rear shock oil to heavier stuff when i had the stock engine to prevent bottoming hard.

now with the reduced weight, that heavy oil is almost like a wheelie bar!

..got the new spur gear!

...but im leaving for texas to race my 4 wheeler at the last national of the year it will have to wait til monday or tuesday.

5% makes your engine run hotter, produce less power, makes the idle and general running less smooth...

Infact I bet your engine(s) are recommended for minimum 10%...

Heck I rarely run below 25% ever...

well got it all on, that wasnt the problem.[:@]

tranny has to come out. i dont think its the clutch, it accelerates smooth at partial throttle, but at WOT, it seems to be slipping and grinding.

any ideas?

the diff is ultra tight, prolly the gear. im gonna take it out sometime tonight and delve into it.

the guys at the LHS said that i should get a .18. i laughed and said,"ill see you in a couple of days with a bunch of tranny parts."

if this is what the little .12 did, i dont wanna know what the .18 wouldve done!!

is that different than the CVR?

the hyper is the slow version, the max cv-r is the race one. what do you think the 'R' stands for? 'R'eally crap?

pulled tranny out, everything looks fine[:@]

could the slipper make that noise? sure sounds like a gear to me, but all the gears look fine.
