Default Nitro Engine???

I am thinking about buying the Losi XXX-NT AD2 and i was wondering what engine do i buy to race with? I am completely clueless... Do the nitro classes have different engine rules and what not? Anyone from Capital City RC in Sacramento on here that can help me out? Also how hard is it to actually put the engine into the car and will it just bolt right in or am i going to need a bunch of extras? thanks for your help

im sure that on losi's site they list the things the truck comes with, and then you just see what you need, if it's a kit, im not sure if they are kits im sure you need an engine, and probabaly a radio system

Go with the O.S. engines no matter which one you get you WON'T be dissapointed with them, thats a fact.

this is a very nice site click on the engine name and it will give you the specs of the engine very nice [8D]

you are going to need a standerd threaded crank shaft with a rotory carb.

stick with o.s. .12 size motor that way you can race it anywhere without probs as roar rules only allow .12 size motors and besides .12 size engines are mostly race engines as .15 size engines are sport engines most any race .12 will eat up a .15 anyday

the OS .12tz is a wicked engine. If you pocket book dont allow a 200 pluss dollar engine, I would go with the traxxas 2.5R engine. It runs about 110 bucks and is easy to start and tune. But if your pocket allows, the OS .12tz for sure, I love mine.

get the .12 tz
your going to need to get a standerd threaded shaft.

nascardad24- you must not know anything about the xxx-nt it takes a treaded shart not a sg shaft lol
