I took my still pretty-new RC10GT over to a big duplex construction site this afternoon. I went through mud, dirt, hard dirt, some wet sand, bricks, climbed gravel and sandmounds, and much more! This truck didn't have a problem with any of it - it tackled all of it without much effort. It was loads of fun!! I didn't break a single thing too! I had a few minor problems like the RPM rod ends coming off once on the front due to a hard landing (quickly fixed), a screw coming out of the rear hub carrier (quickly fixed), and TWICE a rock got stuck in one of the back wheels
Other than that, it was a perfect bash - loads of fun [8D]
Here's some pics. Enjoy!

haha thanks guys - it WAS a blast!!
Yeah I spent like 10 minutes cleaning it off - just sprayed it around with the air compressor, then ran it around in my backyard for a tank. That pretty much cleaned it up! Except for the body.. that would need some elbow grease if I was going to clean it

I noticed you have the same front tires as the rear. How is the steering? I like the way it looks, but I just did not know about the handling. I have hitec 625mb steering servos, so I know that should not be a problem. Let me know. Thanks

THAT setup handles really well. I have a set of [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCMS2&P=7]TRC Park Tires[/link], and they don't have very good traction on any surface. They're OKAY, and they leave really good tire marks. So I like to put those tires/wheels on just to screw around with

and TWICE a rock got stuck in one of the back wheels
When you get rocks stuck in the wheels like that, it breaks the webbing where it connects to the hub. If you break a couple of those, your wheel will start wobbling like a bent axle.
I think a bit of CA would fix them. I plan on trying on a couple of sets of mine that have suffered from that. I'm just waiting for winter to end. and waiting. and waiting...still....waiting........

avg_joe - The wheels are just fine. Even after my Tractor pulling and Backyard jumping ([link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4030664/tm.htm]HERE[/link]), those chrome HPI wheels are holding together just fine. I had to reglue a lot of places on the rear tires from all the bashing yesterday, but they're back to normal now!
