Hey guys,
I recently got a new OS .12CV-RX for my evader ST. Engine runs great however i think it came with a problem. i think it has an air leak.
Engine has never been able to prime or purge since first time. I have to blow on the pressure tube to get fuel in the carb/chamber.. and then it takes some pulls to fire it up... when i fire it up hot or 10mins after a run it takes 3-4 pulls, where previous engines fire up the first time when hot..
I've checked for leaks to the best of my abilities. Changed exhaust gasket, replaces fuel lines, removed in-line filter and checked for carb leaks with soapy water.. haven't been able to find a leak..
Am I overreacting? I mean engine runs good, and i think it holds tune (im on my 8th tank) and doesnt appear to get hot..
still is kinda frustrating that it's a brand new engine! I don't want to send it back to OS so they tell me it has nothing..
any suggestions???

Your positive it's not too lean? Usually when they are set too lean they won't prime very easily. I never had any issue's with a OS not priming up real easy. I'd say richen it up a tad and see how it primes. If you have 0 air leaks and it's not set too lean it'll prime right up.
Also you can try posting in the [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_133/tt.htm]OS direct support forum[/link] and see if they offer any advice on what the issue can be.

It does not sound like you have any of the "air leak" signs/symptoms.
When your priming it, give it a bit of throttle. This will make the fuel flow faster as the LSN will exit the spray bar a small amount. Also give it a bit of throttle when starting it up after it has been running.

I'd still say it's set too lean. I'd try factory settings on both needles and see how it primes then. If it's still not priming right there's got to be a clog or restriction someplace.

I sort of have a priming problem with my sport but I got an EZ Start (electric System in it) The problem mite be the primer hose may have a slice or pin hole in it or the gas fitting might be leakin air or even cloged up pipe or something.
