I have em both
The JATO is faster than the MT2.
The MT2 is much more stable in the dirt, and on the street. This is mainly due to the 4wd.
My MT2 has an .18, and my Jato is stock.
THey both bash well.

I think the MT2 will hand it to you on the track.
MT2 doesn't have a 2 speed, the Jato does.. so on the street you should wax him.
Now...unless you get some seriously nice tire, like some crimefighters you don't have a chance on the dirt.

If your in dirt and doing anything serious where you need any control and no power loss to wheel spin; then the mt2 all the way. Even if it only has a 1 speed tranny is still has 4wheel drive.....I have had plenty of 2 wheel drive cars and trucks in the past and i do have to say they tend to be a little more fun at times compared to 4wheel drives...not to mention easier to maintain. But when it comes down to the serious stuff; the 4wheel drive is a lot easier to control and doesnt suffer from power loss like a 2wheel drive does, even if the 2wheel drive has a 2speed in it....

All so if you run in grass the MT2 will do a much better job because of the 4-wheel drive. Just read some of the posts in the Jato thread. Off road as far as handling you cannot do better then 4-wheel drive. I have both 2 and 4 wheels drive and the 4-wheel drive handles SO much better. Do not run on road but I would think as far as handling it would all so be better. Look at all the full size vehicles that push 4-wheel drive on the road.
