everything on it is totally stock. except for the rear tires, they are stampede tires. i ruined mine trying to remove the glue from the rim now i'm stuck with these crappy tires until i get new ones. it is very hard to control with those on the back. it always spins out. im looking to upgrade to aluminum parts from golden horizon.
enjoy!
enjoy!

just back from some light bashing and high speed passes on the road. i wish i got a vid.
damage report: toe-in stabalizer thingy (forgot what it's called), from recent runs, as shown on pic 3, broken hub(drilled hole till i can order aluminum ones), broken front left a-arm as shown on pics 4 and 5(another temporary fix till able to get aluminum ones). and thats all.
a few weeks ago, i was doing high speed runs and my radio glitched and i ran it into a deep puddle. my reciever made it but for the servos, it was too late[

]. well, im using two throttle servos on it. one on the throttle, and the other as a steering servo. 50 oz. is good enough i guess.
well, enjoy

alright, so heres mine. its got an os .18 cv-rx, metal tranny gears, a change of tires (of course!), an rc10gt fuel tank, and that awesome body.

I've got alot of things done to mine, but no pics of my current shell I've got on it.
Fantom FR12, Futaba MG high torque servo for steering, rc10gt exhaust header (ported), CVEC pipe, rc10gt fuel tank, velocity rims (hole shots in rear, blades in front), Ofna throttle linkage, lightened slipper plates, lightened flywheel (from HPI MT, not the duratrax flywheel), failsafe, and soon to have HPI racing clutch.

i tried the treads reversed and forward to see if it would improve traction but it didnt work so... somehow put the melted stock racing bowties.

yeah,
im a little low on money and had to compromise. i had to figure ways to fix my broken parts till i can get replacement aluminum parts. so i did these. and my original shocks started leaking and lost pressure so i put my stampede shocks on it and they couldn't fit the upright way so i put them upside down. everything is working great so far. and my rear right hub broke on the toe-in adjustment and i drilled a hole. worked perfect. now my toe-in linkage is stripping. i'll fix it later. as for the a-arms, i used some nylon string to use until i can get new ones. the travel isnt fast but it works. yeah, its raining outside and i cant run it. oh yeah, my disk brake broke completely off. so i have to figure out ways till i could buy replacements.
now lets see yours.

i know Wide Open, those are some nice action shots (i forgot to metion on my last post), so are Snipin Willy's. the reason im breaking so many stuff is because i jumped and crashed alot, it was my first rc. i sorta regret i didnt start with electrics but i love it. except the parts breaking. i dont race, just bash. if i could race, i would go for it. but here in this part of alaska, there isn't any race tracks. only in anchorage. there is only gravel here to bash in. and it has big pieces of rocks that make it bounce around. so yeah. parts breaking is from first time driving last november.

hey wide open, how does the os .18 treating you. since i got used to the dtx .18. i want a faster motor with more power. able to do some wheelies. and sell my dtx to a friend for like 50. i would also like tires with good traction and would last a while. tires that im looking into are the yokahoma geolanders from hpi, the dirt works and dirt hawgs from proline. any one know a good set of a-arms other than the original ones? want to get it more durable. also considering aluminum hubs and carriers all around.
thats a nice header you got there snippin willy. what kind of engine is it?
