Agreed, im not fighting at all. but i will say this, the engine is designed to cope with this fuel. so fuel in it is not bad for short periods of time. So i touch the flywheel to stop it during a days racing, it does NOT hurt at all. and at the end i will run it dry.

I do one of two things. I pinch the fuel line or put my finger over the stinger. Most of the times I just pinch the fuel line though.

Hi,
If engine runs normal at idle speed, I will use my finger or the tip of my shoes and stop the flywheel underneath. Pinching the fuel line, blocking the exhaust pipe or blocking the carb is fine.
Regards
Joaquim

Flywheel is most concienient is all, not because any other ways are bad for it. its just the fuel line is inside the body and the exhaust is hot.

I thumb my nose at it.
Actually it depends, either plug the stinger or stop the flywheel, both work great, which I use at any particular time depends on the position of the car, how dirty it is, which model it is, the position of the moon and sun and my mood.

On my small blocks I put my figure over the stinger but on my big blocks, which right now the only one I have, running is my Savage so I put their stop on that rubs on the flywheel because the big blocks get so much hotter. All so on a Savage getting to the flywheel is not easy! You touch my Savage pipe at full temperature it will burn you I know! Not sure how I will do it on my buggy with a big block until I get it running.

Touch the flywheel.I dont like the fact of craming mass fuel into my carb before it dies out.I hate it when peaple kill my truck by the pipe.
Pinching the tube it hard and timely.

I let mine either just run ou of gas or I put my finger over the pipe but mostley just let the tank run out cause it never hurt my trucks I owned and it didn't cause them to run much leaner either and also it just like pinching the fuel line. but it's your choice

Since I have an exhaust deflector, it's much easier to turn off my engine by just pinching the exhaust deflector. It shuts off within a second, and I really don't see any damage being done to the engine.

I usually touch the stinger.. it's convenient because usually the only reason I shut it down is because I forgot something, so it makes starting it back up easier. I use the flywheel if I've had a runaway and the engine is still at full throttle or something because then there's a ton of exhaust coming out the pipe...

What's the ignition switch. The e/z start isn't hookedup to the truck while you drive, wo what is it?

Other, I just turn off the ignition switch.
