Default help-its been three months since my new rusty ran

ok guys i have just been working on my rustler and it isnt starting. Everyday i would start it and it would run for about a minute and automatically shut off. Then it wont start after that? I would try for an hour to get it starting again but it wont. what is the problem why wont it start. the rubber on my ez start wire is melted. also after i would run it everyday for a minute until it shut off i would tilt it and blue gunk came out of my car. I cleaned it just incase it was flooded also. another tip is the glo plug is fine, so whats the problem? if u have an answer give me percise directions.

do u have the ez start 2...with the led's? if not you can check the plug by plugging the ez start wire on it and putting the plug against the head so it will glow, or just use a glo starter to check it....second, whats your hsn setting and what is the idle screw set at .... and it could be bad fuel?? wild guess

From what you described, it sounds like regardless, your engine is running lean. Whether or not that's due to a carb setting or an airleak, that's open for debate. I think this because you said that it runs for a minute, then it won't start, and that your glowplug wire is getting so hot to the point of melting. That sounds like vapour lock, where the fuel in the lines literally gets so hot, that it turns into a vapor. Tell me if that sounds about accurate.
