Default Muggy Help

Hi

I recently bought myself a Team Losi Muggy..........I wouldlike to go racing, but I am having a problem with the car and its settings, I have replaced the engine with a Picco .28 P3, the engine is awesome, but the Muggy's front end is refusing to give grip, I have softened the front end, the rear I have but some heavier oil in to trynot allow the front to come up so easy. Can anyone else suggest what I can do to stop the front end balloning like mad and give me some handling?? ? It is uncontrollable when on power....Anyone got any suggestions??

I might mention that it is running its standard wheels and tyres....

first you know this should be in the monster forum right ? no harm done i'll try to help you out. if you put heavier diff fluid in the front it will not allow the wheels to unload like they are doing now and should help with the traction. also use 60 wt shock oil all around so you arent biased to the front or back i have found that the same oil in all the shocks works better than different oils in the front and back.

Hi,

Sorry for the mistake, what diff oil do you suggest front to back?? As hard as 60 weight on the shocks? Would this not help the loss of traction wih it being hard??

Chees for your help.

find out what the stock weight is in the front center and rear then go up 10k in the rear 5k in the center and 20k in the front. mind you these are not exact so do this at your own descretion this works for my truck (which is a true truggy not like your muggy which is a buggy mt hybrid) but it may not work for you

Hi

I am really sorry guys about this......I didnt realise that my Muggy was not a Truggy and this was thus in the wrong thread....I was told by my lhs this was a truggy!! So I apologise please dont argue on my behlaf or mistake.

Okay do the suggestioon is to thick up the front doff oil, and give the shocks an even balance.

I will do this and return to the thread on what the results are, Sorry again about the mistake.

lower the front end and lift the rear with preload spacers. RC Pro Series rules state if its got a center diff its a truggy.

Hi,

I have done this too, but the front end just wheelspins such much..I have also changed the diff oil and it hasnt really helped either, one of my mates has a Sportwerks Mayhem with a Novarossi .28 engine in it and that has more power than mine, and his front end dont do the same thing, is it a failing in the car??

Cheers
