well in my evader i replaced th edifferential gear with an alluminum one along with the idler gear. the truck ran great with no more problems for maybe 10 tanks then it began acting as though it fried the diff. after inspecting it the car had just loosened the diff on its own some how and now continues to do so half way through each tank. what is causeing this?

Sounds like you installed your diff wrong. Re-tighten it, but instead of putting it back the way you did, reverse it.
You need to make sure the side with the diff adjustment screw is on the RIGHT side of the truck, otherwise, it will just loosen as it spins.

lol, what?
I'm talking about if you pretend to sit inside the truck (like it was lifesize), the side with the screw-head on the diff would stick out on the RIGHT side.
What's this stuff about right as in rear passenger side in america? right is right wherever you go, left is always left. And I am in America... NORTH America

haha i wasn't sure which view you were calling right. looking at it from the front makes it oppisite side. so rear passenger side in america was the only way my mind clicked to explain for some reason haha sorry must have been late. that is the side mine is on though so the problem isn't making sense

lol, thats cool
Hmm... I haven't had a lot of experience with Evaders, but a friend of mine does have one (electric though), really cool truck, actually.
Which way does the Evader's diff scew tighten? The standard (Righty-Tighty, Lefty-Loosey) way, or is it reverse threaded (Righty-Loosey, Lefty-Tighty)?
