Maintencance on a Firestorm..
Hi everyone,
Im currently getting a new HPI Firestorm next week and have a few questions to ask about maintaining etc..
What tyres are best for grass use? (the grass is about 8cm high)
What glue would you suggest for glueing the tyres onto the rims?
What after run oil could you suggest? And/Or any other engine maintenance items i would need to keep my truck in perfect working order.
Many thanks.

Dirt hags II work great in the grass. I ues superglue for gluing my tires on never had a problem. I use hobbico after run oil but I heard W-d 40 works just as good. But make sure you put it in the cylinder head and not the carb. make sure you always carry around a small screw driver so you can you adjust the HSN or the LSN.

Other then Traxxas no engine manufacture recommends WD 40! WD 40 displaces moister where after run oil adsorbs it. To me for no more the after run oil cost it is just cheap insurance to use the proper oil! Call or email HPI and see what they say. You all so need air filter oil. Keeping the air filter clean and oiled has a lot to do with how long your engine last and how it runs.
