Default Odd problem with Master Vh-X5

I recently purchased a Master Vh-X5 and when i go to just switch it "on" the throttle and steering moves wildly. I have the transmitter on when I turn it on and I cant figure out why this is happening.

thanks.

Nope, just bought brand new ones for both transmitter and car

EDIT: I tried moving it around the house and it stopped twitching, but the steering and throttle dont respond

try that and make sure the frequency the transmitter is the same as the reciever. if they are close but not dead on then you will have this problem
