Default Firestorm Help

Every time I hit the brakes the engine shut off. I messed with the clutch for the past week, The carb stays 1mm open when I hit the brake but it still shuts off. What could be wrong?

Sounds like your to the point of frustration[&:] First replace the glow plug and if that doesn't work. Reset all the needles to the stock settings and retune starting with the HSN and work your way back[&o]

Did you try setting the idle up a little bit and check the trim on your TX?

If it is not the idle try leaning out the LSN some.

yeah i'm pretty much at the point where I'm ready to smash this thing. I took apart the carb and the clutch and redid everything. I even set the needles back except the LSN because I can't get the engine out because I stripped the screw. It finally doesn't shut off the engine when I brake.

But now when I start the truck up it doesn't stay in neutral it takes off running. ***?

I've been to 3 LHS and everyone there are a bunch of idiots!

You have the idle to high, the trim on your radio is set wrong or you have the clutch put together wrong. If you want to smash it you can send it to me. LOL

I think I got it, gonna take it for a test run and then test the temp. Does anyone know if HPI does repairs or tuning? I'm tired of messing with this thing.
